The client is a renewable energy IPP company with fully integrated development capabilities and it's head office in London. The main focus is developing renewable energy power plants across the United Kingdom with the help of their highly experienced management team and partners to allow them to deliver quality, bankable renewable power assets. Their focus is on the development of large-scale solar, wind and hybrid energy storage projects. Role: In this role you will be working closely alongside the grid manager, and if required the key management team members and land acquisition team. Supporting the Grid team in identifying and securing grid capacity both on the distribution level and national transmission level from 11kV up to 400kV network for its large-scale solar, wind and BESS projects. You will regularly communicate and liaise with the relevant DNOs and NGESO to gather all necessary intelligence to successfully source and secure grid capacity for prospective projects.The ideal candidate must have experience in power systems analysis, excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with external stakeholders such as network operators and specialist grid consultants.Furthermore, you will be actively manging relevant grid aspects of the business, building and maintaining relationships with the DNOs & NG throughout the entire development and construction process.
