JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT Education/Experience: 5 to 10 years Human Resource Generalist and business partner and/or talent management consulting experience working with mid­level managers and senior management. Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related field prefers. Technical background: Demonstrated ability to develop talent management strategies/solution and collaborate with HR team on implementation of solutions. Strong business acumen with results orientation to drive key business performance metrics. Strong organizational and change management skills. Ability and experience with process management, negotiation and planning. Computer Experience: Skilled and experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Talent Management Systems. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, including the ability to present to small and large audiences. Track record of influencing leaders at all levels, preferably across different cultures. Personal Skills: Ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain confidential data. RESPONSIBILITIES Consults with customer groups to design, implement, monitor and review talent management & leadership development processes aligned with business strategy. Scope includes among others: Attraction / Retention, Talent Pipeline's competency (identification and development), Career Paths and Management, Performance & Leadership Potential identification and measurement, Culture/ Organizational branding and Employee Value Proposition. Manages implementation and coordination of succession planning and talent review activities between HR Managers and customer groups. Ensures succession plans and Leadership Review documentation completion for Corporate presentation. Provides consultation to HR Managers and Surface International Leadership team on benchmarking, best practices and process management. Ensures timely implementation of timely talent identification processes and tools. Leads the creation and support of comprehensive development and retention/engagement solutions for high potentials and emerging talents. Collaborates with the the team on the design of developmental solutions. Acts as a coach and a mentor to help resolve workforce and organizational capability issues and develop performance strategies. Oversees and analyzes all internal moves for the region that align with individual career paths for development. Works with the HR analysts and HR Managers to identify trends regarding internal movements by function and/ or business unit and provides recommendations accordingly. Provides incumbent data for the leadership development review process that takes place with the executive team. Ensures all leaders and managers are trained and understand the purpose of our succession plan and how it works, career paths processes and tools, performance management process and how to be an effective coach and engage in conversations with their employees around the areas of career development. Stays abreast of latest developments in management, leadership, and organizational development areas to serve as subject matter expert and consult to organization regarding critical people issues. Partners with external professional groups and organizations. Responsible for recommending to Regional HR Leadership Team the annual Talent Objectives and Plans.
