As an Advisor, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist in the identification and assessment of risks and implementation of controls,
  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective procedures,
  • Effectively communicate HSE issues to all levels in a timely manner,
  • Participate and/or conduct Incident Investigations
  • Be self-driven and conduct HSE Audits
  • A passion for continuous improvement supported by excellent constructive critical analysis and review skills

To be considered for this position, it is essential you have all of the following (as a minimum):

  • Certificate IV in OHS / WHS
  • At least 3 years exposure to the mining industry
  • Residency in Perth and the greater metro area
  • Incident Investigation experience
  • "C" Class driver's licences
  • Moderate computer literacy
  • Be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing,
  • Be prepared to work in a variety of environments
  • Be team focused and willing to learn.
  • Be an Advisor that leads by example

It is then advantageous for you to have (or be willing to obtain):

  • Experience with SharePoint and INX systems
  • Previous experience with client's like FMG, BHP and RTIO
  • Exposure to Auditing 45001(4801/18001)/9001/14001
  • ICAM, 5 Whys training
  • Unrestricted/Open Class Heavy Rigid or above license,
  • Previous Drilling experience,
  • Cert IV in training and Assessment
  • National Police Clearance no more than 28 days old,
  • Provide / Senior First Aid,
  • Basic Fire (course code PUAWER008B),
  • 4WD (course code RIIVEH305)
