My client are a global IT solutions provider with a fast growing presence in Australia. An urgent requirement for an IBM Master Data Management Consultant has come up.

The role:
* Identify root cause, troubleshoot, and resolve issues relating to MDMCE ("PIM") quickly and effectively, including defect resolution
* Escalate to and act as the technical conduit between SAI and IBM for underlying product related defects
* Assist with supporting the product within the cloud-based platform
* Work with other application support team members to ensure a well-defined, and where possible, automated release-management process for code changes
* Plan for and support application releases upgrading and patching
* Coordinate and control change to underlying data models
* Maintaining configuration properties or log files
* Resolving, starting/stopping services and related issues
* Creating new workflows and modifying existing ones as required
* Defining scripts to include in data loading, configuration automation or environment building as required
* Ensuring alerts are appropriately created and managed by support teams
* Work in collaboration with infrastructure teams including DBAs to manage the database and system, logs, and system performance
* Work in collaboration with other technical and product teams who support interfaces between MDMCE and other SAI systems Key Stakeholders

Tools:
* At least 3years experience as developer, including Java, scripting languages and operating systems (including Windows and Linux)
* Experience working with IBM's Product Information Management Collaboration suite is an advantage(MDMCEv11.5)
* Experience supporting and configuring WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy (WASNDv8.5) preferred 3-5yrs
* Knowledge of AWS, Atlasian development and team tools essential
* Experience working in agile environments essential
* Excellent planning and collaboration skills
* Excellent communication, both written (proposals, recommendations, contributor to collaboration libraries) and verbal
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Flexibility and adaptability to a changing process and work environment
* Ability to contribute to the overall improvement of release management and development-automation techniques and tools, working within divisional strategies and guidelines
