A Paper supplier is looking for an extensively experienced Country Manager to oversee the office in India and ensure that it operates effectively within established targets and business objectives.

The successful applicant should be confident in fulfilling the following responsibilities

*Responsible for management of regional business activities, setting goals, development and delivery of strategic objectives and optimising regional business opportunities
*Recruit, manage and develop/train & mentor future successors
*Develop and implement market & business intelligence. Formulate market strategy/business operating plan for India Subcontinent
*Responsible to achieve quality sales targets, volume, selling price, selling expenses, sales growth profitability
*Monitor and control selling G & A costs and take responsibility for pricing decisions
*Develop and build strategic network and improve channel distribution/key account management in the region
*Regular Business performance reporting update.
*Working with production to manage inventory and supply chain

Requirements:

*MBA/Degree in either Sales Management, Marketing, Engineering or Business Admin
*Minimum 15 years of top leadership capacity in either Printing & Writing Paper, Printing & Board sales in India
*Excellent knowledge of the business environment in India especially for Pulp & Paper industry
*Proven record in leading the business to win large accounts, territories/regions and improve channel distributions significantly
*Has a thorough knowledge of the printing and paper products as well as being well versed in the market demands in the country.
*Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
*Good analytical and organisational skills
*Good customer network and relationship in some segments of paper sales
*Strategic mindset yet hands-on in tasks
*Proficient in written and spoken local native language & English will be an added advantage
