The ideal candidate for this position will be a proactive and self-motivated professional who will work with other team members to manage Access for our client's key information resources residing on multiple platforms, with a focus area in Windows systems, Active Directories and other automation.
The successful candidate will aid in the continuous improvement of the identity and access management practices and will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) over IAM practices, policies and procedures for the Windows and Essential practices.
Candidate must have experience in all aspects of Identity and Access management life-cycle, especially on processes for On-Boarding, Off-boarding, Transfers and HR driven processes.
Heavy Active Directory experience
ID Provisioning/Identity Management
Physical Security & Badging
Scripting background is a plus!
Mainframe experience is a plus!
Utility experience is a plus!
Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights including physical access requirements.
To manage physical access to BES Cyber Systems by specifying a physical security plan in support of protecting BES Cyber Systems against compromise that could lead to misoperation or instability in the BES.
Assess need for any security reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.
Keep current with emerging security alerts and issues.
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture.
Participate in the creation of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures).
Identify new trends in systems security and data protection, and build business cases for adoption of best practices.
Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security.
Participate in activities in Access Management to provide access management business requirements and insure compliance with industry and company security standards.
Minimum Educational Background and Physical Requirements Required to Perform Job:
Associate's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or 5 years of comparable work experience.
This position requires expert knowledge of this field and the ability to complete complex assignments. Individual must have leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas and provide innovative solutions. Individual must have the ability to operate independently, with very little direct management, and to communicate effectively, both internally with technical staff, peers, and management as well as externally with customers. This position may be required to provide direction to employees and/or contractors according to established policies and management guidance.
