Internal Sales Engineer - Battery Refurbishment

My client is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to work within the industrial service team, the successful applicant will be a vital link connecting the company's outstanding technical specialists and Industrial Service Sales team across the whole of the UK. This is a crucial position within the UK Service Sales Team and will drive the continual development of efficient communication between the multiple business units.
The post holder will possess a strong technical knowledge in industrial battery technology or have a desire and passion for new technology supported with a 3rd level (HND or BDc) in electrical/ electro-mechanical engineering.
My client is committed to continually improving the quality of service that all their employees provide. You will be given a 90 day intensive training programme to ensure you are fully capable of providing a world class service on a daily basis.


Role and Responsibilities.

Liaising with stakeholders.

You will be responsible for liaising with the Battery Refurbishment Team Leader providing them with exact information they need to ensure the sales leaders receive the quote and make successful deals.


Sales Support.

Assist all new and existing business opportunities that are practicable with the companies pricing capabilities, process sales orders ensuring all documents are correct and CRM systems have the latest information.


Effective communication with all stakeholders.

The Internal Sales Engineer will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively liaise and negotiate with all stakeholders including customers, Vendors and colleagues when providing sales orders, quotes, and confirming that the technical specification provided by the sales team meets the exact requirements of the client.


Show innovation and support its development.

Champion creativity and bring ideas on how to improve processes within the business adding continued value to the customer, the team and the business as a whole.

Person Specification
*Degree education in Electrical or Electro-mechanical engineering
*Excellent communication skills
*Technology literate with full competency across the Microsoft suite
*The drive to understand our Battery product line and wider solution offer
*Previous internal sales experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be given by industry leaders
*Previous experience in working in a matrix organization, with remote teams (Desirable)
