Associate Job Opportunity
We are searching for an Associate to join the rapidly expanding, New York City-based Finance team. In this role, the Associate will be expected to support the investment team with their current projects across our global platform by translating business data and industry research into digestible form. The ideal candidate will be proactive and high-energy with the ability to be flexible and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Roles & Responsibilities will include:
*Transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other such duties.
*Work with Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials.
*Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
*Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
*Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.

The ideal candidate will have:
*2-3 years of experience in an Analyst role within an Investment Banking platform
*Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
*Solid financial modelling skillset, ability to work autonomously.
*Entrepreneurial mindset, strong aptitude for critical thinking
*Previous experience in the Power industry or related fields (Midstream, LNG, O&G, Renewables)
*Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling.

*Bright and flexible, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously
*Able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate
*Proactive and high-energy with a hands-on approach to problem solving
