Spencer Ogden, in partnership with a global dynamic and rapidly growing consultancy and project development company, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer. This exciting role involves supporting their onshore development team in diverse and engaging projects.Our partner company is renowned for providing market-leading support in the development of large-scale renewable energy projects, encompassing onshore/offshore wind, solar, and storage. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and lead the engineering aspects of allocated projects.Key Responsibilities: Manage the development and review of concept designs for renewable energy projects.Conduct value engineering and optimise business cases to maximise project outcomes.Perform due diligence activities on potential new development acquisitions.Facilitate site selection processes for project development.Negotiate contracts and specifications with suppliers and contractors.Distil complex technical and project concepts into clear, concise summaries for commercial stakeholders.Provide electrical engineering technical support and advice to the wider team. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors or masters degree in relevant engineering discipline.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy and energy storage industry.Strong problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills across all organizational levels.Broad understanding of various engineering disciplines.Proactive approach in providing solutions to project-related tasks.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical subjects to non-technical team members and clients.Familiarity with the interface between commercial and technical aspects of projects.
