Strategy and Planning:

-Interfaces actively with the leadership team as well as with users; understands the organization's needs and overall use of IT to ensures a high standard of user satisfaction
-Recommends and plans information technology to support and meet company objectives based on research and evaluation
-Directs implementation and execution of new/upgraded information systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability
-Develops, reviews and maintains company Disaster Recovery Plan
-Evaluates and determines workstation configurations and mobile communication standards
-Organizes and manages multiple priorities successfully
-Stays abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance

Leadership:

-Manages and responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department
-Manages the evaluation, planning, and execution of all IT projects
-Structures, leads, trains, and develops IT staff for maximum effectiveness
-Responds to issues in a timely manner, and effectively communicates with staff
-Maintains confidentiality

Technical Proficiency:

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert

Software:

-Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise
-Microsoft Active Directory 2012 or above
-Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above
-Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above
-Citrix Xenapp 6 or above
-VMware vSphere 6.5 or above
-ERM/CRM Experience (Dynamics preferred)

Hardware:

-Firewall Appliances (Watchguard preferred)
-Cisco Routers and Switches
-SAN Storage (Pure Storage preferred)
-Server Hardware (Dell preferred)
-Enterprise Telephone Systems
-Cloud Backup System (Datto preferred)

Required Skills and Experience:

-Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related field
-8+ years of management and leadership experience in IT
-Strategy and planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over multi-year time spans
-Strong database management skills (preferably SQL)
-Program/project management experience (PMP and/or Agile certifications preferred)
-Data center management experience (dedicated or colocation)
-Well-developed interpersonal skills, maturity, credibility, confidence and integrity
-Participates, manages and evaluates all IT vendor relationships
-Attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills
-Track record of strong team building and mentorship
-Proactive problem solver
