This candidate will conduct/lead complex audits and may supervise large audits/projects. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance) and 5 years relevant experience. Candidates who possess the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification are preferred. Candidates that do not possess this certification are strongly encouraged to attain this certification within three years after being hired. Other certifications, such as CIA or CISSP, are a plus. Experience using business intelligence tools or audit analytics software such as ACL is preferred. The candidate must possess a valid driver's license, be able to travel to all Company and subsidiary work locations and work in all weather conditions. May be asked to perform other related assignments.
This candidate will perform audits with little to no supervision and may supervise a broad range of IT and operational audits based on a risk based methodology. This includes assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of, General IT controls, application controls, and computer/cyber security-related risks covering a broad range of computer technologies including mainframe, LAN/WAN, client/server, Internet/Intranet, databases, telecommunications, etc. The Senior Auditor/Project Auditor will conduct Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 testing, participate in pre/post implementation reviews of major system implementations and assess compliance with critical cyber security standards. The Senior Auditor/Project Auditor will manage and execute all aspects of an audit, including: planning, identification of key risks/controls, test plan development, fieldwork, report writing, and presentation to audit management and senior business management. They will be expected to thoroughly document audit work and include detailed description of audit procedures/techniques/risks as well as evidence to support conclusions. The Senior Auditor/Project Auditor will also write comprehensive formal audit reports that clearly present and translate audit results to all levels of business management. They must have a strong understanding of sampling techniques and apply them during audit engagements.
