Lead QA/QC Engineer needed for 1 year + assignment on a Power plant erection in Morocco. French & English fluency is preferred.

Successful candidates will hold the following:
- 10 years minimum in a QA/QC Supervision role
- Prior experience on minimum 1 Coal-fired Power plant
- Extensive knowledge of applicable codes, norms and standards, a.o. ASME, AWS, ASNT, ANSI, API, OSHA
- English & French fluency written and spoken

Responsibilities:
- Control and follow up the QA/QC management and reporting system for the mechanical team including punch items list and inspection reporting;
- Organise the QA/QC inspector's inspections agenda with the support of the lead mechanical engineer;
- Coordinate all the QA/QC inspections through the site QA/QC inspectors;
- Support and advise the QA/QC inspectors and control their reporting of all tests;
- Coordinate with the Client's representative on all quality matters;
- Follow-up the punch list items for all disciplines, control the issued QA/QC punch items of the QA/QC inspectors;
- Ensure that the QA/QC aspects of the mechanical equipment, the technical specifications, data sheets, drawings are complete and consistent with the project requirements;
- Issue adequate comments in the required timeframe concerning QA/QC documents which are in the scope of the EPC contract;
- Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards;
- Coordinate and chair the site QA/QC meetings with the EPC Contractor and the Client;
- Ensure the safety is adhered to on site;
- Assure that all technical documents relative to site quality control are up to their current statuses.
