Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Peterhead Aberdeenshire


The Role
The Electrical Maintenance Engineering is responsible for the day to day electrical maintenance engineering activities whilst on shift.

Key Responsibilities
*Ensure Equipment & Site kept in good working. This includes equipment maintenance and any general site maintenance.
*Continually improving and maximise uptime by ensuring that repairs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
*Proactively support all initiatives to improve safety and quality throughout the Company. All duties carried out with first regard to personal environmental and product safety
*Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards in all work areas to conform to good working practice and the requirements of a food manufacturing environment
*To carry out all above responsibilities and practices with the aim of producing food safely and to required internal / external specifications, within a HACCP framework.
*Ensure PPM targets are met and that each planned maintenance is scheduled at appropriate times, effectively completed and closed.
*To support production in any reasonable way as requested.
*Any other reasonable duties as directed by Line Manager.

Person Requirement
*Formal electrical engineering qualification i.e. HNC,City & Guilds, etc.
*Experience with 3-phase motors
*Experience in conducting isolation work
*Good time keeping


The Package
*£14 per hour
*5 - 10 hours overtime per week (paid at time and a half)
*Pension
*Six weeks annual leave.
