Main duties:

  • producing contractual offers (Surveillance Offers*) for manufacturing surveillance activities to be performed (documents and in-shop)
  • producing the surveillance plan for manufacturing documents
  • performing the technical review of manufacturing procedures, exemptions requests, NCRs...
  • producing clearance notes (which purpose are to report to project whether the surveillance carried out on the components are in accordance with their associated SOs, and highlights the gaps if any)
  • contributing to the production of contractual technical requirements for manufacturing operations
  • being responsible of the capitalization of OPEX regarding manufacturing issues
  • taking part in manufacturing kick-off meetings
  • deliver Surveillance Offers, Clearance Notes, and Technical reviews on manufacturing documents from suppliers

*The Surveillance Offer is the technical provision of services of DI for the surveillance activities of equipment manufacturing, in response to a mandate from the Customer (HPC project), relying on a risk assessment, as well as specific technical and contractual requirements, and aiming to provide reasonable assurance with high added value that the manufacturing of high stakes components is achieved according to applicable quality standards, and that the non-conformances are being treated with the best anticipation as possible.


Essential :

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant science or engineering discipline (Bac + 5 - Chartered engineer, MSc or equivalent)
  • Recognized advanced welding diploma/certificate (at least International Welding Engineer or equivalent)
  • Languages : upper intermediate level at least (B2 and above in the CEFR), in both French and English
  • Knowledge of regulations, codes and standards related to the manufacturing of steel components (and preferably in the nuclear industry)
  • Experience in documentation review/check for manufacturing of mechanical equipment
  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite
  • This role will require BPSS clearance.
