Materials Coordinator required on a 6 month full time contract based in Cheadle for a client who supply automotive manufacturing companies with Turbochargers.

Candidates must be available to interview at short notice within the next week with a view to starting before the end of August.

*To project manage and conduct process improvements in the warehouse, including re-layout, external warehouse solution and stock accuracy
*Responsible for the effective management of all warehouse related activities
*To promote a safe working environment & ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with current HS&E legislation and Company Policies
*Develop work procedures in line with QS9000 & ISO/TS 16949 to ensure consistency between departments
*Manage the direction & supervision of the shift to achieve the targets set & customer demands whilst maintaining QS 9000 & ISO/TS 16949 standards
*To monitor & analyse data regarding to Warehouse activities
*Day to day operations & organisation of priorities
*Ensure people & resources are matched to meet customer requirements
*Sequence work to meet daily delivery requirements
*Communicate effectively with other Coaches and Managers to work as a cohesive team
*To liaise with other departments to ensure site objectives are met
*Assist with management of T&A, reporting, RTW interviews and HPD's in the required timeframes
*Management of the FLT fleet to include maintenance, repairs and utilisation
*Management of packaging flows
*Meeting attendance and reporting to the European Leadership as required
*All stock management, to include, assisting with annual stocktake execution, cycle counting, parts identification, cleanliness and packaging management
*To be a Key user and trainer on related systems and processes, SAP,Kardex etc
*Liaison with sub-contractors for warehouse related support,
*Ensure customer deliveries are met for parts shipped from Cheadle
*To establish a cohesive team to achieve consistency in all areas of Warehouse
*Assist with management of performance & conduct of all direct reports
