Our client is a leading offshore wind service company looking for a Mechanical Specialist - Offshore Wind to join their Second Level team in Germany paying a competitive salary of €45,000-€55,000 per annum + €145 daily offshore allowance + benefits package. This is a unique opportunity to work on wide variety of offshore wind farms maintaining, inspecting and repairing their specialist mechanical/marine systems.

Mechanical Specialist - Offshore Wind duties and responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, inspection and repair, etc. on the following systems:
*Cranes (Hydraulic / Electric)
*Emergency generators
*Diesel Fuel Systems
*Sea water cooling systems
*Air conditioning and ventilation technology
*Oil separator plants
* Prepare and follow-up offshore operations
* If necessary, carry out fault clearance operations to establish a safe operating state of the faulty system
* Documentation of offshore operations and deficiencies in offshore wind farms
* Responsible for error analysis and the derivation of recommendations for action
* Technical preparation of work instructions, method statement and risk assessments as well as the preparation of maintenance plans

Mechanical Specialist - Offshore Wind desired experience:
* Technical vocational training and advanced training as a master / technician in the field of marine engineering
* Written and spoken English and German language
* Professional experience as a master / technician and can demonstrate very good knowledge in the areas of operation, maintenance and repair of the named special systems
* Ideally, you are a certified technician from well-known manufacturers such as MTU, Mitsubishi or MAN in the field of marine diesel engines
* Prepared for frequent field service and on-call service
* You have the necessary health conditions for offshore activities according to the guideline AWMF
* Proficient in MS Office applications and in possession of a driving license of the class 3 / B
