Job Summary:

We are seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical systems for residential and commercial buildings. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, working knowledge of California Codes & Standards, and experience in designing HVAC equipment, air distribution layout, plumbing systems, and performing engineering calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer mechanical systems from the conceptual design phase through construction.
  • Attend meetings with clients and take meticulous notes.
  • Design HVAC equipment, air distribution layout, plumbing systems, and perform engineering calculations.
  • Understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.

Supporting the Grid team in identifying and securing grid capacity both on the distribution level and national transmission level from 11kV up to 400kV network for its large-scale solar, wind and BESS projects.
