My client is a dynamic Food Manufacturer which is currently undergoing rapid growth. The environment is one where a real impact can be made by the right Multi-Skilled Engineer. The company culture is supportive, collaborative and friendly. They put values and best practice first.

Their customers include the major supermarkets and their manufacturing process is both high-risk and high-care.

Multi-Skilled Position:

To support the production and associated team
Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance
Undertake Mechanical and Electrical breakdown Maintenance
Assist with Project work and Plant Upgrades
Ensure that Hygiene and GMP standards are achieved


Required Experience:

Time served multi skilled Engineer with Mechanical and Electrical Fault finding skills
Knowledge of production engineering with diagnostic skills
Working knowledge of PLCs
Understanding of pneumatics
Engineering reporting
Knowledge of Mixing, Moulding and Bagging machinery would be highly advantageous
FMCG experience would be ideal but not essential
The ability to work to own initiative
Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation demonstrating the ability to actively promote a safety culture
The ideal Multi-Skilled Engineer will have sound knowledge within the food production process. This role would be advantageous for a Maintenance Engineer looking to become apart of a company that are rapidly expanding with the view of growing alongside them.
