We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to work at a critical site in Norfolk. The ideal candidate will be a multi skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical experience.

We're looking for four highly motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer for a day shift (4on/4off, 5am-5pm). You will hold an engineering qualification of NVQ level 3 as a minimum and be 17th edition certified. Mechanical skills are also important, preferably with pneumatics and hydraulics.

As part of the engineering team you will undertake a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and tackling breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency.
Excellent communication skills are a must for liaising with internal departments and external contractors, as well as a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the needs of the business are met.

Ideally you will have experience working with food processing and packaging equipment, however training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Duties:

*Work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and minor repair works ensuring all deliverable SLA/KPI targets are met or exceeded.
*Responsible for Electrical and mechanical maintenance as well as basic plumbing and fabric works
*Perform all work to specification meeting the required standards.
*Take full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks, carrying out skilled planned maintenance, repair and improvements.
*Install new plant and equipment when required
*Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant.
*Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.
*Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas. Provide regular updated information and condition ratings for the asset management database
*Communicate with the Engineering Departments when support is required to ensure all tasks can be achieved within prescribed requirements.
*Identify extra work requirements and provide details of required material and labour estimate to enable client quotes to be issued
*Demonstrate commercial awareness by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, travel and waste
