Job Description:
-Provide managerial expertise within Health, Safety and Environment to promote effective safety programs and ensure compliance among job sites in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island
-Ensure company follows regulations set by OSHA, DOT, EPA among other local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
-Conduct safety meetings and training programs for all employees, supervisors and contract employees
-Anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices
-Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs
-Implement, evaluate, and audit the effectiveness of hazard controls and their applicable programs
-Investigate incidents involving company property and employees, and prepare documentation to ensure an adequate investigation is completed
-Work with medical providers and company's Risk Management department to ensure procedure requirements of the return to work program are followed
-Manage any safety incentive programs at their assigned branch and/or job sites
-Approve and oversee the purchase of branch and/or job site specific safety equipment for employees

Candidate Requirements:
-3-5 years of experience within HSE leadership role in construction industry with an emphasis on scaffolding
-Advanced knowledge and understanding of current construction and general industry safety regulations and the ability to analyze and interpret data for the safety of employees, job sites and the branch
-Experience managing HSE efforts among multiple facilities within a region; excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively train, motivate, and communicate with employees, supervisor and customers
-Experience resenting training materials in a group setting
-Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals
-Computer skills including the proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
-Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history

Ideal Candidate:
-An active member of at least one safety management trade organization
-Currently or recently review new products and services offered by various safety and scaffolding contractors and trade organizations
