Currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience and attitude to serve as Office Manager. The successful candidate will work with our team in support of the firm's rapidly growing renewable energy project development and management practice. This position will begin on a part-time basis, estimated at 20 to 25 hours per week.

The Office Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the office and the development and maintenance of effective systems for managing information to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our growing team. This is a high-skill position, requiring an experienced and talented manager who can fit in well with the culture of productivity, growth, and performance driven by our values. The office manager reports directly to the management team, with direct supervision from the President.

The Client is a small, fast-paced entrepreneurial firm with limited staff. Therefore, all members of the team are required to devote some time to supporting business operations. For this position, these activities may include assisting in the development of business planning materials, proposal writing, and development of marketing presentations.

*Manage day-to-day operations of the office including telephone/voicemail, mail (ingoing and outgoing), supplies, etc.
*Lead the team in developing and maintaining effective information management (paper and IT) systems.
*Manage website, blog, and other communications channels as needed.
*Bill management and potentially broader bookkeeping duties utilizing Quickbooks.
*Provide administrative and logistical support to the team as needed.
*Special projects as needed, including some business writing.

Required Skills
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and website management tools
*Experience with Quickbooks and basic financial bookkeeping will be viewed favorably
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Organized and detail-oriented work style
*Ability to set and work to deadlines
*Problem-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify areas for improvement, propose creative solutions, and execute on these.
*Familiarity with and interest in renewable energy and/or environmental issues strongly preferred.
*A high degree of emotional intelligence;
*Team player - willingness to pitch in across the organization
