Due to a vast amount of growth our client is looking to bring on a permanent Operational Controller to join their Operational Control Centre paying a competitive salary of €45,000-€50,000 per annum + benefits package. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting offshore service company where you will be tasked with monitoring the safe and efficient control of offshore wind farms and substations.

Operational Controller duties and responsibilities:
* Monitoring of offshore wind farms by operation control systems
* Receiving and processing error messages
* Action planning in collaboration with disposal team and plant managers
* Monitoring of flight / ship operations (communication, approval of landing and hoist operations)
* Maritime surveillance
* People tracking
* Evaluation of operating data (error statistics, revenue data, availability...)
* Creating reports and operation documentation (E.g. lists PAX, release work permit, daily reports, bridge documents, logbooks, disturbance histories, evaluations of means of transport)
* Examination and maintenance of HSE certificates for offshore work
* Communication in emergency management and organisation of the Swiss rescue chain
* Create work instructions [AA], risk assessments [GBs], method statement procedures [MSP's], [BA's] instructions as well as technical analyses and reports
* Evaluations and documentation according to the requirements by the Director of operating room ·
* Network management, in particular unlocks and releases by working on high voltage and medium voltage switchgears
* Creating switching jobs
* Observance and compliance with QM and HSE requirements, as well as QM and HSE standards

Operational Controller desired experience:
* Technical training as a technician in electrical engineering
* Switching order permission preferred
* Knowledge of IT based facility control systems (E.g. MWFC, PRINS, power SCADA)
* Good English and German skills in speaking and writing
* Familiar with MS Office applications
* Team working and communication skills
* Alternating shift working patterns
