Operations Procedure Reviewer (Multiple Positions - Nuclear Power)
Abu Dhabi (Site based position)
A leading consultancy business that supply in to the Power, Nuclear, Oil & Gas sectors are currently recruiting multiple Operations Procedure Reviewer to work at a Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plant.
This position will be based on the site, within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, with site accommodation, transport and food provided.
Key responsibilities will be:
*Play an active part in the Operations Procedure team which will involve working alone, in a team and a high level of training and mentoring.
*Verify and validate the accuracy of operations procedures using background documents, vendor manuals, controlled drawings and other source documents.
*Review of technical documents that are assigned to you.
*Lead staff training initiatives to equip them with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to complete all training.
*Validate operating procedures through a review of background documents, vendor manuals and technical drawings.
*Support the revision of operation procedures.
*Review procedures developed by other departments and provide comments.
*Perform technical review on plant operation design specifications and license documents.
*Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
*Comply with all HSE policies and procedures.
Candidates for this position must meet the below criteria:
*Minimum of Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering or another Scientific Discipline.
*You must have previously, or currently, held a Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license/certification for a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Nuclear Power Plant.
*You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience working in a Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plant.
*You must have a high level of HSE awareness, previously worked in a position that required Quality Assurance regulations and be able to review engineering/technical drawings.
*All candidates must be eligible to gain security clearance in Abu Dhabi.
*We are only considering countries that have worked in countries where their nuclear power sector has signed the non-proliferation treaty, as a result we cannot consider candidates who have only worked in the Indian and Pakistani nuclear sectors.
*Site based, 300km from Downtown Abu Dhabi, in a remote location with site accommodation and food provided.
*Typically it is a 4 day working week, 11 hours a day, with a minimum of 44 hours a week.
*Relocation and demobilization costs will be provided for.
*This position is initially for a one year contract with the option to extend.
*Private medical insurance will be provided.
