Position Summary To provide technical equipment engineering advice and support to offshore operations (Ops), onshore discipline & maintenance engineers, and production engineering teams. Develop and optimize maintenance strategy and program in accordance with business objectives and KPI, as well as providing short to long-term strategies and plans to continuously improve reliability and availability to ensure rotating equipment ops maintenance activities are executed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Responsible as the Technical Authority for rotating equipment and turbomachinery ops and maintenance. Principle Accountabilities 1. HSSE a) Responsible for HSSE and Regulatory Compliance within their relevant discipline to provide leadership support to achieve goal zero for the organization. b) Ensures HSSE issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within area of responsibility, based on the ALARP principle. c) Maintain technical assurance for SCE and Process Safety items concerning the discipline. d) Actively support and provide technical know-how in technical studies and failure investigations, Process and Instrument diagram reviews, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments and HAZOP's etc. e) Ensure surveillance audits are conducted on SCE related PMs to ensure the assurance task as per the Performance Standard are met. f) Ensure verification tasks are completed as required by the SCE Performance Standard. 2. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for field operations on the assigned project(s) in order to achieve safe, timely and profitable completion of each project. Plans, organizes, and supervises building and related facilities portions of construction work for an assigned area of a construction project. Responsible for the construction planning of the construction related activities of the subcontractor and/or self-perform to confirm the completion of contractual construction activities. Maintains continuity of safety, job progress and maximizes efficiencies related to the assigned area. - Responsible for the oversight of the following project work activities: site earthwork and layout, concrete flatwork and foundation, structural steel, steel and wood framing, interior finishes, millwork, roofing, plumbing, HVAC systems, fire protection, and commercial electrical systems. - Responsible for overall supervision of construction effort, which includes: safety, productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, materials management, scheduling, design, and contractual performance of the project. - Responsible for subcontractor contractual compliance and/or self-perform on designated construction related activities. - Build effective client and subcontractor relationships.
