As a P&A Business Operations Specialist, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and fast paced environment. In this position the P&A Business Operations Specialist will manage the near and long-term P&A Forecasting process, assist the Management team with required reporting and maintain the ARO capital database.

This position is located in our Houston, TX office and works a 9/80 schedule.


? Assist Management team with weekly and monthly project updates and forecasts.
? Maintain detailed P&A tracking sheet and aggregate project level projections.
? Work with P&A Operations to reconcile costs and production test on completed projects.
? Assist with lookbacks on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
? Maintain the AFE tracking sheet for P&A projects.
? Actively work with accounting, treasury and land to track and forecast P&A related payments.
? Assist with budget and annual planning process.
? Maintain ARO database complete with all assets. Work with reservoir engineering team to forecast ARO and supply detailed asset level estimates to be used in reserve reports.
? Work with land and compliance departments to maintain databases necessary for regulatory compliance and analysis.
? Interface with Accounting department to provide applicable project cost tracking data.
? Act as liaison with Accounting, Asset Management, Finance, and Production groups to standardize
P&A data used for internal reporting.


? MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline required.
? Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar role.
? General understanding of plug and abandonment, production, accounting, drilling, and completions terminology.
? Ability to work as a team player and work cooperatively with other teams.
? Strong advanced computer skills in Microsoft office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint required.
? Strong communication skills which include verbal, written and nonverbal communication.
? Ability to provide quality customer service to internal customers as well as external business partners.
