Seeking Planning Managers for a major nuclear defense project located in Plymouth. 

Key Elements: 

  • Delivery of Project Planning Services across all Capital Investment Projects and Operations and Maintenance activities within Nuclear Facilities
  • Develop and maintain Project Risk & Opportunity registers and manage the mitigation actions
  • Assist in the management of change and improvement initiatives across Nuclear Operations 
  • Act as key interface with the SAP Neptune Programme, ensuring processes, tools and training are implemented as required 


Required Knowledge: 

  • Recent and extensive experience in a similar environment / business sector
  • Awareness of various contracting methodologies 
  • Full lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out 
  • Experience working on multiple projects of varying type and complexity 



  • Academic 
    • Degree/HNC or equivalent in an Engineering/Technical Subject. 
  • Mandatory 
    • APM Project Professional Qualification (PMQ) 
    • APM Project Planning & Controls - Practitioner 
    • Earned Value Management Certification


As this is a defense project, the ideal candidate must be a sole British National with no other passports held.
