Project Management
The Plant Engineer manages plant maintenance programs and coordinates the maintenance functions at the
Henderson, NV facility. These include managing preventive and repair maintenance to ensure operational
efficiency. The Plant Engineer will also be responsible for the proper documentation of all maintenance
functions including work orders, parts inventory, parts requisition and equipment information. The incumbent
will also act a project engineer for all site projects acting to coordinate all work with corporate engineering and
site installation acting as the site project manager. The plant engineer will coordinate all site sub-contracting
including facilitating bids on prospective work, contracting of the work and oversight of the sub-contractors
when performing work.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.
? Coordinates with Plant Manager to meet plant objectives for maintenance, design, new development
and improvement of plant procedures.
? Manages plant maintenance staff
? Facilitate and maintain proper maintenance documentation using plant maintenance software
? Coordinate equipment repair or selection if replaced, including; pumps, instruments, controls or other
plant equipment.
? Manage interaction with contractors and client.
? Acts as the onsite Project Manager for any projects installed
? Provide support to ensure plant operations meet environmental and safety protocols in a cost-effective
? Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
? Maintain effective working relations with customers, personnel, other client contacts and Envirogen
? Must be able to accomplish multiple tasks and respond quickly and effectively to changes and priorities.
? Proficient in Word and Excel.
? Working knowledge of AutoCAD
? Adhere to safety procedures and programs.

? BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
? Minimum (5) years' experience in industrial or domestic wastewater treatment preferred.
? Experience in plant maintenance or plant project management or plant engineering
? Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
? Must possess a valid driver's license.
? Adhere to safe practices and procedures.
? Welding, fabrication, general construction, or heavy equipment operation ability a plus.
Physical Requirements:
? Ability to lift and carry materials up to and in excess of 100 pounds.
? Perform work outdoors in inclement weather.
? Required to reach with hands and arms overhead.
? Must be able to bend at the waist, kneel, or lie down and perform work.
? Vision abilities required such as close and color vision.
