As the Plant Manager, you will:
Be ensuring the plant and team is performing in a safe and efficient manner while making important decisions and coordinating plant operations. You'll also be in charge of maintenance of the on-site equipment and assets, overseeing plant budget performance and finances, developing and maintaining relationships with localized vendors, consistently communicating with your customers and your corporate and regional offices, and the management and education of your team.
Within this role, your duties and responsibilities will include:
*Meeting contractual obligations and exceeding customer expectations.
*Optimizing performance and longevity of company assets through proactive, timely, and accurate maintenance planning and execution.
*Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the plant's performance as well as team performance.
*Reviewing and approving operations and maintenance plans.
*Verifying plant capability to meet the contractual requirements as specified.
*Effectively and efficiently directing the overall operations of the power plant to ensure optimum utilization of resources and team members.
*Achieving plant objectives through decisive action and coordinating plant performance tests while planning and organizing the activities of the power plant.
*Developing and managing the performance skills of all direct reports through setting expectations and goals.
*Coordinating continuous training and education of power plant personnel.
*Operating your power plant in adherence with the standard operating procedures set by the equipment manufacturers and according to regulations placed by the local governments and your company standards.
*Assuming overall responsibility for the implementation of quality and productivity initiatives in your plant.
*Ensuring the safety and security of your team members.
*Acting as the key point of contact for client relationships.
As an exemplary Plant Manager, you will have:
*A degree in Engineering or Business.
*Five or more years of experience in managing power plants.
*Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, outlook, excel, and word.
*The ability to cope with pressure and adversity while solving problems and making decisions.
