An exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an in house consultancy has arisen for a contract role. This commercial consultancy and wholly owned subsidiary is owned by an established NHS Trust. Over the past 5 years, they have established them self as a leading provider of consultancy based services which help private and public sector clients all over the world become more efficient and effective through the delivery of strategic estates development.
The Senior Cost Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor, Cost Management is a new post within the company Capital Development Team, based in Oxfordshire, which currently has three service lines:
Programme and Project Management
In conjunction with the Associate Director of Cost Management and others, the Senior Cost Manager will support ETL in achieving the overall business plan to grow and develop cost management as a leading edge offering to external clients, including NHS organisations and private sector clients both within the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service delivery and performance of a number of projects of varying breadth and scope, leading and managing those projects and also working as part of a team on major commissions
You will be expected to hold and achieve annual performance targets.
The role is full-time client facing, and you will be expected to work within the cost management team in developing cost management expertise, processes, and procedures to ensure a quality assured service delivery. The role also includes contributing and providing support in delivering presentations for new business opportunities.
