THE OPPORTUNITY

This key role requires an experienced and competent practitioner in drilling operations, well engineering, well integrity and completions who works to support the wells team delivery (operated and non-operated assets) through technical assurance, process improvements, performance tools and new technology.

THE TECHNICAL BIT…

You will be competent as Well Technical Authority 2 for the portfolio of European wells and demonstrate capability to perform and assist in wells technical and value assurance.
Be responsible for delivery of assurance and interface with assets for non-op wells activity and ensure compliance to the clients Standards and national and international engineering standards, recommended practices, guidelines and codes of practice.
You will provide advice as Wells Technical Authority 2 on deviations and non-conformances to the clients Standards and external codes and guidelines, identify and promote cost effective new wells technology and be responsible for reviewing Well Examination reports and proactively provide support and guidance to capital projects and assets.
You will support the operational wells activities to deliver safely and efficiently
In addition, you will develop and maintain interfaces and relationships with key external stakeholders and regulatory bodies

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have a good knowledge of Well Engineering principles and Well Integrity technical knowledge
  • Can demonstrate capability with Drilling, Completion, Intervention & Well Engineering with operational and technical knowledge
  • Be proactive at problem solving
  • Hold an Engineering discipline degree preferably chartered engineer
  • Have in depth experience of well engineering principles
