Our client is a world-leading Oil and Gas company with a strong presence in the Petrochemical and Chemical sectors. They are looking for a French and English speaking Process Engineer with a minimum of 5 years on-site/refinery experience from a thorough technical education. Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To liaise between different departments and provide the relevant technical assistance to these different departments
  • To supervise one or more technicians reporting directly to them
  • To be in charge of several different units including Distillation Columns, Boilers, Torches and
  • To run tests and create reports after analysing the relevant data from the test results
  • Contribute to continuous optimization of processes, unit operations and equipment
  • Provide support to FEED/FED processes
  • Daily monitoring of the different units and troubleshooting
  • To build rapport and relationships with both internal and external relevant points of contact

Process Engineer Desired Skills:

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience working in a refinery (on-site)
  • Must have experience in working with Distillation Columns or Steamcrackers and feel confident in modifying these units in order to get the desired outputs
  • Good soft skills and a team player but has the desire and capability to take on further responsibility in the future and eventually lead a team of their own
  • Must be able to speak French and English
  • Must have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering from an Engineering School
