In this role, you will lead all product marketing activities for the assigned region of an entire technology offering. The product manager will work with global marketing to develop and execute a regional implementation of global strategies, accountable for the on-going growth, profitability and vitality of the different product lines offered in the region.
-Manage the performance of the existing product portfolio for the assigned region working with global marketing. This will include ongoing catalog update, product rationalization, raw material strategies, productivity enhancements, supply chain assurance, etc. and will require close partnerships with key stakeholders in Sales, R&D and supply chain.
-Partner with the commercial team for product recommendations to ensure that products offered always meet the assigned product line goals and objectives as defined for the regional portfolio. This will include ensuring pricing strategies for technology are met working with the business marketing group.
-Identify and communicate technology gaps to global marketing to incorporate in the ongoing strategy development. Regional product managers might also be asked to support the development and execution of technology projects to address such gaps once approved in the technology pipeline.
-Continuously scan the region for market shifts, emerging technologies, competitive threats or unmet customers' needs to continuously improve the regional offering as well as the global understanding of the product lines performance. These learnings will be communicated to global product marketing to ensure continuous strategy improvement.
-Support the regional deployment of technology launches providing field support and training as needed to meet the assigned goals for the region. This will require that the Regional Product Manager continuously track new technology launches performance.
-Develop tools leveraging global branding and product marketing best practices to enhance the regional product portfolio communication within the assigned regional market, the customer base as well as our sales force.
-Track and report on regional product line portfolio (including Revenue and profitability, productivity projects, etc.) and innovation management (projects & launches) performance on a periodical basis.
-Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields
-Able to work independently.
-Strong organization, sense of urgency, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
-Must take ownership of workload and make decisions independently based on policy and customer needs.
-Must have strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Word skills.
-BTB Marketing Experience, particularly with highly technical products and service in an industrial setting
-Experience with strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities
-Demonstrated capability to think strategically and synthesize market, technical, and business insights into strategies
-Must be a natural collaborator with a preference for working with cross-functional teams to deliver results on tight timelines
-Capacity to build relationship and networks with an ability to lead without authority a large array of cross functional groups and regions.
-Ability to navigate complex matrix organization to include and influence key stakeholders in various functions and regions.
-Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both within and outside the business
-Experience with Specialty machinery in the Oil & Gas industry is a must.
