Production manager oversee the manufacturing process and make sure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently.
Work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards
First-hand experience in different manufacturing process of the cable namely Wire drawing, Stranding, Bunching, Extrusion of different compounds like PVC, LDPE, HDPE, XLPE (Wet cured i.e. Silicon based-SIO Plan), laying armoring etc.
Managing the workmen for achieving the periodic production targets, and machine scheduling (weekly/daily and shift wise).
Responsible for running of the manufacturing operation.
Spearheading production related tasks including planning.
Control and trouble shooting, handling shop floor operations.
Optimizing man machine utilization to achieve production targets.
Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement.
Supervise and maintain the parameters set in the machine during the card manufacturing operation.
Collecting the daily production figures key indicator reporting
Implement defect classification standard inspection criteria for the card production with the help of process implement item.
Providing support to the production process function.
Clean and safe work environment
Maintain and promote best practices.
Meeting departmental objective.
Will be involved into finalizing the dealers for categories
Leverage relationships with large corporate customers, Original Equipment's Manufacturing OEM's with strong dealer base.
Deciding upon the prices, discounts & margins in CABLE category.
Playing a key role in meeting the companywide profitability and customer satisfaction goals.
Take all necessary actions to manage production costs and improve profitability.
Responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment to reduce bottlenecks and problems while continually enhancing value
Should have experience/exposure in planning, budgeting, resourcing, implementation, monitoring and controlling activities such as review of layouts, loom board designs, drawings, computing Bill of Materials at enquiry stage itself, release procedures and other replication collaterals, storage and dispatch of critical cable systems and finally, managing traceability requirements
being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs;
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
Review the processing schedules and production orders to coordinate the inventory requirements
Directing and coordinating the production process
Review the operations with technical or administrative staff to resolve any production problems
Review production reports to analyze and enhance the performance and quality
Recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance including the replacement of machines
