Job Title: RF Production Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire or Essex

My client, a leading multi-faceted satellite communications company, has a new Production Engineer vacancy. The role assists in ensuring the rigorous standards are upheld for new and existing product ranges both in sites within the UK and internationally, to make sure broadcast signals never become compromised. The successful candidate will get to aid in the future of technological advancement of space-based broadcast communications.

The successful candidate will establish and maintain the manufacturing process of the existing product range. The opportunity exists in either Hertfordshire and Kent, with sites across the globe. Due to the ever-growing nature of the company, there will be both domestic and international travel opportunity. You must be willing and able to travel up to two weeks per 2-3 months to facilitate the rising demand. RF experience, particularly relating to RF test techniques, fixtures, equipment and jigs is of benefit.

Responsibilities:
*With new products constantly coming into the range, this will involve an individual ready to bring these to manufacture. It will involve resourcing and approving new parts and components ready for design and creation.

*It involves establishing and maintaining the production with rigorous technical support adhering to the current standards. This involves assessing the production process and ensuring value, and that test equipment is properly calibrated.

*There exists a chance to add improvements to the production and test processes for both innovation and rigidity of protocol, saving cost while increasing quality.
As well as the technical aspect, there is opportunity to guide others with knowledge and expertise in the use of equipment and fixing components.

Requirements:
*Labview proficiency, with the ability to automate tests for manufacturing environments#

*Previously been a supporting Production Engineer in a Volume Manufacturing role

*Continuous Improvement/New Product introduction/Project Management role

*Excellent written and spoken skills, communicating with senior management, customers, sub contract manufacturers and suppliers, both abroad and in the UK
