Job Scope:

  • Analyze current state of trains considering maintenances, ambient temperature, capacity restrictions, etc. to determine the required amount of inlet gas
  • Forecast gas supply needed for daily, weekly, and monthly facility operation
  • Communicate with Gas Supply to keep informed about any changes to inlet gas requirements
  • Assist in the Development of the Chemical & Refrigerant Monitoring Program including monitoring and forecasting tools and utilize during operation
  • Annual budget forecast for chemicals and consumables
  • Monitor storage refrigerant levels of propane and ethylene
  • Track usage to forecast deliveries of refrigerants
  • Plan delivery schedule and strategy for train start up with operations and refrigerant vendor
  • Assist in the development of the Production Forecasting models
  • Utilize by updating production forecast models for budget
  • Provide Forecast daily, weekly, monthly, yearly LNG and condensate production using multiple scenarios
  • Work with operations, engineering, marine, and commercial to maintain or adjust shipping schedule to ensure cargo volumes are met and inventory levels do not exceed storage capacity
  • Participate in daily strategy planning with Production Management and work to overcome the limitations and deficiencies to assure targets are met
  • Develop, measure and generate reports against Production KPIs
  • Work with Commercial Operations and Marine Operations to add ships to the respective Departments weekly work schedule
  • Manage changes to the work schedules applying flexibility for delays due to shipping traffic, weather, and any other un-foreseen condition that should arise

Key attributes for the candidate:

  • MS Excel advance level
  • Good communication and team work
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar (engineering background is a must), better if Chemical/Mechanical or Industrial Engineer
