AKF is seeking an individual who is pro-active, hardworking, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Work with Engineers to develop proposals
  • Work with Clients to track, develop and maintain Dept. of Building filings and general correspondence
  • Coordinate paper work with expediters
  • Create and track forms in job folders and on tablets
  • Handles incoming phone calls
  • Obtain Owner, Construction Manager and Contractor information
  • Update project logs with on-site contact information
  • Accounts Receivable experience
  • Develop and create inspection reports
  • Issue inspection reports to Owners and or Contractors
  • Notify when inspections are completed
  • Submit and track inspection invoices. Responsible for issuing sign-offs upon receipt of payment
  • Submit electronic questionnaire to clients and contractors
  • Archive project files

  • Proficient in basic administrative functions and skilled in the use of office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks/projects with little supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel experience required
  • Ability to work with others; clients, colleagues, and management
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong abilities in scheduling
  • Flexible and detail-oriented
  • Takes initiative within area of responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience desired
  • Dedicated and hard-working

Required/Desired Credentials:
  • Construction background preferred
