Our client is looking for an experienced Project Finance Associate with a background in renewable energy Engineering or Project Development. This company has been very successful in the Renewable Energy Tenders in France and as such is looking for motivated professionals to join their growing Project Finance team. The Project Finance Associate would be responsible for maintaining the quality and rate of growth for the company at this crucial time for them.

 

 

Project Finance Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full analysis of potential investments and management of the entire investment process in renewable energies assets and companies.
  • Maintaining and updating models based on the development team's assumptions and current market factors.
  • To play a key role in the transactions of the company, performing essential analysis on projects and advising the senior management on the best course of action.
  • Complete Financial, Technical and Legal Due Diligence on projects.
  • Present the top recommendations to the Board of Directors.

 

 

 

Project Finance Associate Key Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in Renewable Energy Project Finance.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Engineering or Project Development in the Renewable Energy Industry.
  • Engineering Masters or Master 2 Finance
  • Strong knowledge of the development process of Renewable Energy.
  • Very good knowledge of the financial markets (capital, subordinated debt, debt).
  • Knowledge of the legal and tax aspects of arrangements and risk management.
  • Fluent in French and English.
