As a senior associate, you will assist in the origination, execution and portfolio management of project finance transactions with a mix of agency, bilateral and participated accounts covering renewable energy, power, infrastructure, oil & gas industries, agriculture tech and other innovative industries. You will also support and/or manage the execution of debt arranging processes, including both external and internal tasks and requirements, such as due diligence, internal risk and return evaluations, coordinating processes with clients, advisors, other lenders and internal partners. Senior associates support the deal team with independent analysis on credit standards, contracts, cash flows, budgets, construction reports, operating reports, etc. and will provide significant contributions to external marketing, including developing and drafting presentations and pitchbooks, providing market intelligence, and maintaining internal resources and materials. In addition, you will be responsible for the development of detailed project finance models, which will include multiple debt tranches across loan and capital markets, scenario and sensitivity analyses, and key metrics and outputs. Assist in closing and booking of new transactions and booking changes to existing transactions, completion of customer due diligence procedures including customer registration, renewals and monitoring. Assist in preparing for and responding to internal and external audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Origination and Execution:

Assist deal team with executing on new opportunities by reviewing due diligence materials and reports, coordinating with clients, advisors and internal constituents

For new deals, manage the internal credit process conducting analysis and research, preparing credit memorandums and applications and managing communications with credit and operations teams from origination through close and funding

Prepare pitch books and presentation materials related to client and prospect acquisition

Build or supervise the development of Excel financial models for project finance transactions with the ability to create various financing structures and credit metrics

Manage administrative requirements including internal pricing models and all regulatory requirements associated with client onboarding
