POSITION SUMMARY:
My client is seeking an experienced project manager with the battery storage industry who will be responsible for management of all project aspects from initiation and until the final turnover to the client. During this process, the Project Manager will serve as a focal point for all project aspects with all project team members and stakeholders including, vendors, subcontractors, client and management. Moreover, the Project Manager will drive technical initiatives; enhance program and project management practices and enhance project management team capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the project execution and track progress of all project activities, address any risks and concerns, initiate and apply any necessary modification and mitigations, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, meet performance and fulfil stakeholder's expectations.
Manage and motivate project teams and members successfully.
Manages numerous cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
Provide periodical reports, as instructed and required, to management and receive management approvals as required.
Define and prepare the project schedule, budget and execution plan, and obtain the appropriate management approval.
Define scope of work, responsibilities and roles of the project team members.
Participate as a team member in the business development phase of the project, assist business development, sales and engineering with the relevant activities necessary in planning, coordinating, tracking and permitting of the pre-project activities.
Responsible for submitting and obtaining of all permits required for the successful completion and execution of the project, as required by the relevant regulatory agency (county, municipal, federal, etc.), as well as provide relevant inputs to engineering to ensure compliance with local regulations and permits requirements.
Review, approve and sign all projects purchase orders and contracts, in accordance with the company signatory authority procedure.
Provide support for special projects and endeavours as assigned. Other duties and projects as assigned by management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering market.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
Experience in Battery Storage is a must.
Understanding of Battery Energy Storage system applications and operational strategies.
Demonstrated success in full lifecycle project management roles in any of the following fields is preferred: Power plant design, development, construction and commissioning.
Battery Energy Storage system design, development and installation.
Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality.
Proven excellent ability to use a variety of computer software applications in project management, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
Excellent communication, management, planning, problem solving skills.
Ability to interact professionally and influence positively a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts.
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English.
