My client is a world leading developer and manufacturer of specialised systems that enable some of the world's leading OEMs to deliver innovative systems for medical and science, aerospace, defence and industrial and commercial applications.

The role:
They require an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in our Team. You will take responsibility for delivery of the Business Continuity plan.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
*Developing, maintaining and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions through risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures
*Planning, conducting, and debriefing regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans accordingly and acting as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event
*Initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling the projects lifecycle to ensure delivery on time and to budget and Providing inspirational leadership and guidance to the project team
*Management of project uncertainty through planning and Risk Management, establishing appropriate mitigations, contingency & fall-back plans

To be successful, you are likely to have the following experience:
*Experience of successfully delivering complex projects using recognised Project Management techniques
*Proficiency in Project Management / resource tools such as MS Project and MS Project Server/enterprise Project Management tool
*Good understanding of Risk Management to manage a project
*Knowledge and qualification in APM Body of Knowledge, PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies
