Spencer Ogden are seeking a Project Manager with an Electrical Engineering Background for a unique opportunity with a Global engineering specialist.

Our client specialise in the manufacturing and installation of High Accuracy Electrical Meters which are used within substations and on wind turbines. Due to expansion and the success of winning key contracts they are seeking a Project Manager to join their operations team based near Gillingham Kent.

This fantastic opportunity is for an experienced individual to work in a friendly team environment, where you would be responsible for providing technical support/advice to clients and metering business for the assessment, interpretation and design of metering projects in the electrical high accuracy metering market.


-You will plan, organise, direct and control the company's resources on multiple projects to ensure satisfactory attainment of client objectives within the contractual, commercial, programme, budgetary and quality requirements of the contract.
-Responsible for successful delivery of grid metering projects achieving customer requirements.
-Responsibility for successful delivery of grid metering projects
- Interface and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met
-Responsible for management of staff (project delivery team)
-Responsible for the management of project resources and project budgets
-Responsible for management of EHS in connection with delivery of projects
-Identification and management of project risks
-Support & collaboration with Sales / Tendering during pre sales phase of projects

-BSC /HND in engineering discipline.
-Project management qualification beneficial.
-Good management skills, Good communication and influencing skills
-5 years working within power / energy industry
-Electrical engineering technical background required
-Experience in AutoCad
