Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as on site owner's representative throughout project life cycle
  • Run meetings with subcontractors, client and client parties
  • Identify contract requirements between client and all counter-parties to ensure compliance
  • Monitor project progress in accordance with contract requirements, highlight and mitigate issues that arise throughout construction cycle
  • Coordinate site activities between subcontractors, site host, and client
  • Review associated contracts, identify requirements, and create and manage project plan to meet requirements
  • Identify project risks, create a mitigation plan for these risks, and monitor throughout project life cycle
  • Lead coordination between project stakeholders, utilities, vendors, and contractors
  • Effectively apply and enforce project standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise, as appropriate, to meet changing needs of project requirements.
  • Maintain project notes and other records, ensures quality in contracts and P.O. process, monitors project budget and metrics, conducts research and analysis as needed.
  • Coordinate with engineering team in regards to RFI's and submittals

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects through all phases including development, design, and construction
  • Develop and maintain project schedules through knowledge of best practices and schedule management tools (Microsoft Project experience preferred).
  • Outstanding leadership, teamwork, mentoring, and development abilities in conjunction with company standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow through, creativity, and multitasking abilities.
  • Understanding of contract language and finding
  • Decisiveness, good judgment, analytical/math/strategic aptitude and problem solving skills to act with authority in an environment with little direction from others.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and Project required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of Commercial solar Project Manager experience with large projects over $3 million.
