Central/ Southern Connecticut

One of the nation's leading self-performing contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their business operations in Central/ Southern Connecticut on an immediate basis.

Operational in over 40 states, the firm is a leader in self-performing construction work in the Infrastructure space including Bridges, Dams, Marine facilities, Highways and large-scale fixed structures. They offer services in:

  • Design-Build
  • Construction
  • Estimation/ Pre-construction
  • Operation and Maintenance
  • Emergency repairs

Experience Required

  • At least 5 years' relevant construction experience working as a Project Manager
  • Specific Heavy Civil, Infrastructure, Transportation construction project experience of at least 5 years
  • Experience working for a self-performing contractor (Ideally with civil expertise)
  • Degree in engineering or construction management or a relevant equivalent in technical training or work experience
  • Prior experience working and completing projects on time and completion in the Connecticut market
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full construction lifecycle (preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, safety control, supervision)
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in line with a Senior Project Manager's duties
  • Excellent communication skills
