As the Project Manager - Mexico the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and fast paced environment. In this position the Project Manager - Mexico will be responsible for supervising the design, construction and installation of a multi-platform and pipeline project in the southern Gulf of Mexico in the company's contract area.
This position is located in our Houston, TX office and works a 9/80 schedule. The candidate must be willing and able to travel frequently to Mexico.
Oversee the planning, design, construction, installation and eventual startup of the platforms, surface facilities, pipelines and overall development of our Pokoch and Ichalkil fields including
o Working with a major engineering consulting and design company
o Monitor costs and expenses of the project
o Prepare forecasts on timing and capital expenditures
o Work with Mexico's governmental agencies to insure the project proceeds smoothly
o Prepare a plan for daily operations of the platforms once they have been installed, wells drilled and production initiated.
Work with our partner in Mexico on best practices.
Oversee and validate design specifications for the project
Insure quality control and compliance.
Provide senior management with weekly and monthly project updates

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related discipline required
At least fifteen years of experience in design and installation of large marine projects
Experience with power requirements for Electric Submersible Pumps and produced water disposal
International experience on a similar project
Ability to speak, write and read Spanish fluently is a plus
Ability to work as a team player and work cooperatively with other teams
Strong communication skills which include verbal, presentation, written and nonverbal communication
