We are seeking a Project Manager/Transportation Engineer to join our expanding team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will manage and lead transportation and roadway design projects while collaborating with top professionals in the transportation design industry. You will have the opportunity for career advancement and contribute to the firm's growth in transportation engineering in Oregon.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage transportation projects focused on roadway, highway, and bikeway facilities for local governments and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
  • Lead design tasks and maintain quality control of work products to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with peers to solve technical challenges and contribute to project pursuits.
  • Develop B&N's Transportation marketing strategy to expand our client base and provide repeat services to current clients.
  • Monitor task performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk.
  • Coach junior-level staff and collaborate with PE's across the firm.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • PE registration in the State of Oregon or ability to obtain it with reciprocity.
  • 10+ years of related roadway design and project management experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, traffic software (Microstation and/or AutoCAD), and experience with Bentley OpenRoads/Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools.
