I am working on an exclusive opportunity for one of my clients.

They are looking for a Planning Manager responsible for the Project Planning Function within the EPC Substations Projects Business
Leading and coordinating the Project Planning team
Ensuring the internal reporting requirements are met in relation to Project performance

Key Responsibilities;

Ensure the project control practices are deployed across all bids and projects, including:
- Critical Path Analysis and Key milestone tracking
- Earned Value Management (SPI and CPI)
- Resource Management and Histogram Reporting
- Schedule Risk Management (Monte Carlo Quantitative and Qualitive analysis)

- Coordination and deployment of Planning resource to support Projects and Tenders
- Training and mentoring of the Project Planning Team to understand various departmental proceses.
- Ensure the Project Programmes are to the right quality to support the Earned Value Management, Resource Management and
- Schedule Risk Management process
- Provide resource statistics and progress date to support Departmental managers and update GRM (Global Resource management Tool)
- Develops the resource planning for projects which are related to the execution and monitoring of the ongoing staffing.
- Provide Consistency in Project Monitoring, Controlling and Reporting across EPC Substations Business
- Ensure that Project Planners provide work to do lists for Engineers and constantly Monitor Progress of work
- Ensure the internal and external Planning process is adhered to within EPC Substations Business
- Support Projects and Tenders in the production of the Project Schedule
- Development and maintenance of template project schedules and Work

Requirements;

- IT & Planning Systems (Microsoft Office, Primavera, Microsoft Project)
- Resource Planning and forecasting using Primavera P6
- Critical Path Analysis
- Configuration Control and Baseline Management
- Schedule Risk Analysis (e.g. Primavera Risk Analysis)

Essential Experience;

- 5 yrs + experience of Project Planning in the Construction Industry
- APMP or equivalent Project Management qualification
- Resource Planning/Management
- Earned Value Management
- Experience of Qualitative and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis
