PV Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a PV Engineer to join our dynamic team helping to transform Australia's electricity supply at our Sydney office in Macquarie Park. This role be responsible for leading the engineering design and performance of PV projects to deliver against operational, customer, and project objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:
 Test and implement PV technologies for projects.
 Provide solar photovoltaic design expertise.
 Maintain HQ relationship and implement standards as established by Global HQ PV team.
 Responsible for Australian PV performance and design lead.
 Design and optimise customer PV projects modules, trackers, DC cabling concepts through the
use of PV software (e.i. PVSyst).
 Review, comment and negotiate customer contractual technical requirements.
 Prepare procurement specifications.
 Provide engineering support for tendering and procurement
 Responsible for the production of technical documentation.
 Manage project budget for modules and trackers.
 Prepare and analyse risk and opportunities register.
 Identify opportunities for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you must:
 Bachelors degree or higher (mandatory).
 Previous experience in similar roles.
 Local experience is a must.
 Knowledge on wind technologies.
 Deep understanding and experience with solar technologies.
 Experience with large EPC infrastructure projects.
 Proficiency on simulation tools such as PVsyst, PVSol and/or equivalent software's.
 Proficiency on MS Office.
