Our client is a well-funded R&D company, with a brand new office in the CBD. They are leading the way in drilling automation and are going through an exciting time of growth. Due to this they are on the lookout for three engineers with varying levels of experience to join their team.
Join a diverse team of engineers, scientists and developers. This fast paced role will involve designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software and some firmware for the companies suite of products. You will gain exposure from everything between low level microcontrollers, to deploying python onto the cloud.
The role will be ideal for someone who is passionate about working in a demanding environment, where you will work closely in a team of like minded individuals. Not only will you need a strong technical background, ideally with industry experience in Python, Linux and Git, but also will need to be an excellent communicator and team player.
To be considered for this position you will:
Have a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in software development
Have a willingness to work in a team who are using modern software development processes and tools (CI/CD, Agile etc)
Be confident writing well structured, documented and tested code
Be familiar with the following technologies or similar:
- Python - Docker - Linux - AWS - Git
Ideally have some front end web development skills
Be looking to develop your skills and progress your career within the business

His experience includes numerous feasibility studies, pit optimization, mine design, scheduling, mine planning support to established operations, as well as technical reviews of operations for corporate purposes.You will be working within a team of consultants in Perth and with a wide variety of industry specialists across our nine offices.
