QA/QC MANAGER -


a significant project within Spain currently in the basic engineering studies
phase.
It consists in the studies, erection and start up of a new membrane chlor-alkali plant.
For this project we are looking for an Experienced Engineer with recognized qualification in
Quality Management and Equipments/Pipings inspections


Functions
? Take ownership and manage the Project Quality control and procedures to ensure
project meets the site requirements, legislation and best practices
? Issue and manage Project Quality Plan including KPI and weekly / monthly report
? Manage, coordinate and review all the Project Inspections and ITP in relation with EPCm Inspection leader
? Ensure effective implementation of the approved project QA/QC documents and Plan
? Monitor, supervise and report on implementation of Contractor related QA/QC activities
? Manage and Participate in site inspection and test activities if required in Suppliers inspection and test activities
and PIM (Pre-inspection meeting)
? Maintain quality records related to site Inspection, tests and audits
? Maintain register for nonconformities, corrective and preventive actions
? Coordinate activities of the Inspection Activities in relation with EPCm Inspection leader
? Maintain records of Inspection and Tests
? Coordinate classification and certifications activities with supplier Third Party Agency (notify body, conformity
with legislation, …) and Technical Direction with mandatories requests regarding contractual requirements

PROJECT
? Ensure inspection during delivery of equipments on Martorell site
? Mechanical Completion: Once the material is installed, participate to the inspection site acceptance test or pre-
commissioning testing
? Mock-ups: analysis of fabrication capability, in particular welding of complex pieces
? Equipment inspection: Full equipment inspection at the supplier workshop and end of erection for mechanical
acceptance
? Inspection of equipment, piping… when arrival on site (shortages, damages from transport, completeness of the
documentation…).
? Inspection for field execution support Inovyn leaders: The Inspection and Test Plan requirement applies to
materials/equipment receiving, field fabrication, erection, installation, and construction activities as applicable
to the scope of work.
? Ensure progress of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) including hardware/software function testing - DCS. Done
by project process lead and project DCS engineer.
? Ensure progress of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) including hardware/software function testing - DCS. Done by
project process lead and project DCS engineer.
? Report to the project manager
? Makes the Quality Plan. Distributes the Quality Plan to the concerned people. Assesses the implementation of
the Quality Plan on site


Profile
- Mechanical Engineering
- Welding inspector level III and level II in NDT will be a must
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in this position
