This individual is responsible for quality assurance and quality control in all phases of construction at a project site. Travel is a requirement of this position.

- Provide on site inspection and documentation to ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the design and quality control and/or assembly manual supplied by the manufacturer as well as Field Quality Control Plan
- Develop and implement software for material inventory tracking management. Software and implementation plan must comply with Owner’s Specifications, meet internal Quality assurance standards, and provide concise product placement records
- Have the ability to deal on a daily bases with project management, engineers, concrete supplier and concrete testing labs, steel and turbine manufactures concerning various site issues, inconsistencies and non-conformances
- Direct and train skilled labor in various procedures
- Capable of reading and understanding shop drawings, mix designs, geotechnical reports, turbine suppliers manuals, and engineered drawings
- Knowledge of reinforcement and concrete placement, product testing, civil construction processes
- Liaison with Client, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and/or internal departments on quality related matters
- Manage quality technicians during construction
- And various duties as assigned by the Director of Quality

Requirements:

- A college degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or quality control
- Minimum of 3-5 years in renewable energy, specifically solar energy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without company sponsorship       - Must have high voltage experience in Solar, BESS or Substation

The Project Manager will report to the company’s Director of Construction.The Project Manager will work closely with the Project Developer during the development process and ensure a proper handoff to the project team during late-stage development. During project execution, the Project Manager will manage the project design, permitting, contractor and vendor selection and contracting, and all construction and commissioning activities culminating with turnover to Asset Management (Operations). The Project Manager will be ultimately responsible for the project schedule and budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with the project team, including the Project Engineer and Construction Manager during project execution.Key Responsibilities• Overall responsibility for the project schedule and budget.• Manage engineering consultants with support from the engineering team during project development, permitting, pre-construction, and construction.• Support project objectives by reviewing and approving project engineering proposals and design documents during pre-construction and construction.• Maintain an engineering issues log, RFI log, and submittal log during project execution and identifying project responsibilities and assigning personnel to tasks with definitive due dates.• Prepare and manage the overall project schedule through commissioning, COD and hand-off to asset management, tracking to major project milestones throughout and reporting weekly on schedule variances.• Prepare bid documents for contractor and subcontractor selection, including scopes of work and work schedules.• Support procurement of owner-supplied equipment and managing vendors through contracting, delivery, and installation of major equipment.• Facilitate and lead meetings with the project team, maintaining meeting minutes, and identifying project responsibilities and assigning personnel to tasks with definitive due dates.• Prepare project status reports on a weekly and monthly basis during project execution for internal management review and investor/board updates.• Ensure project design complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsible for securing all permits required for construction and operation of the project.• Prepare the initial project budget with the finance team. Ultimately responsible for the project budget during execution, including weekly and monthly updates on budget variances.• Maintain a risk register to identify and communicate key risks throughout project execution.• Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals during project execution. Maintain production logs for work put in place for future reference for project lessons learned, and schedule and budget forecasting.Quality Assurance:• Verify that project execution during construction agrees with all IFC design drawings.• Assist third-party/IE partners in confirming project performance by meeting with them during site visits and overseeing tests.• Document control, including management of all project contracts.

Assistant Project Managers/Construction Managers with 3-5 years of solar experience who will be boots on the ground, interacting with EPC's, for the Project Manager Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing installation of solar PV generating portfolios currently in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. As an important member of the operations team, you will support projects and clients at all stages of installation as well as ongoing operations and maintenance efforts. In addition to comprehensive project management knowledge, the work will require significant written communication and computing skills, and the ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical audiences. The prospective Assistant Project Manager should have an undergraduate degree from a fully accredited college or university and at least 3-5 years of experience in the solar construction project management field. A strong background in AC, DC Electrical work and code compliance is required.
